Given how much the heart of the Harry Potter story was really about the friendship between Harry and Hermione and that useless hanger-on Ron, it?s great to see you have the same opportunity to build up relationships here. As someone who doesn?t usually care for fetch quests, I was stunned by how quickly and how whole-heartedly I was throwing myself into helping an unpopular student find her gobstones, for example. It?s also interacting with other students. It?s seeing wizards who look and sound and dress every bit as eccentric as the books always described them. It?s seeing Peeves play tricks on students, or seeing ghosts roam the hallways, or seeing the paintings move. It?s petting the cats that roam the halls. It?s finding out that there are not only bathrooms in this version of Hogwarts, there are stalls within them that students have repurposed into snack rooms and potion-brewing stations. It?s not just scaling the stairs to take you to the top of the North Tower and finding the Divination classroom, it?s finding secret passageways that take you to mysterious rooms. You can ? and I literally did ? spend hours running around the castle, seeing what you can discover, and you?ll find that it?s the little things that make the world feel real and lived-in. I mean, yes, officially you?re creating your own character and playing through a story about the goblin rebellions of the late 1800s ? and that?s fine, and I?ll get to it in a moment. It does so by making Hogwarts the star of the game. It contributes to that lore, and stands up as a worthy entry in the Harry Potter canon in its own right. In some respects, of course, it?s easy for Hogwarts Legacy to do that, since it has the weight of a few decades-worth of the Potterverse giving it substance. See, where Forspoken felt too insubstantial (and, frankly, mediocre) to deserve all the attention and debate it garnered, Hogwarts Legacy feels like something more ? something substantial enough that it?s easy to imagine having a strong opinion about, even if you?re just looking at it as a game, rather than as a symbol for some broader debate. Each area usually will have three collectibles within it called Scrying Stones. The second achievement is related to Scrying Stones. The only kill related achievement that you will end up needing to grind will be when you are killing dragons, but that will be explained later on in the walkthrough. You are going to kill so many of each enemy type while working towards other achievements that most of them don't need to be worried about. Do not waste your time grinding kills in these areas for the kill related achievements. While you progress through the game, you'll reach areas where you will find an enemy type, like orcs. However without the use of the garmin connect app I wouldn’t be able to really dial in my training the way I do today. I’ve been through two devices, the Garmin Tactix Bravo and the Tactix Delta solar, both great watches with a lot of functionality. This app has been with me for the better part of five years now. It just seems silly that Garmin doesn’t have 5k/10k times viewable on each run since it’s such a popular analysis point and is obviously an issue for many users. Many others online have the same complaint and the only workaround I’ve seen is downloading a competitor app and synching your watch to that as well. For example, if you’re like me and have too much OCD to log a 3.11 mile run and instead choose to run 3.5 miles, you can’t see what your 5k time was after the fact unless it was a personal record. The other issue is that there’s no way to view your 5k/10k time on a longer run unless it’s a personal record (and you’ve accepted all previous PR’s) or you are physically looking at the watch during your run to see the time when it hits 3.11 or 6.22 which is just annoying. It would make more sense to have the ability to decline the PR after the fact if someone wants to rather than requiring everyone else to “accept” them. Logically it would seem that if that’s my PR then it should automatically recognize it without me having to take the step to accept it.
